All games start at 7 p.m. on Friday:Belle Plaine (3-0) at Cherryvale (2-1). Belle Plaine has not allowed a point this season. But this will be a test. Cherryvale is 2-1 and has defeated Leon-Bluestem 42-6 and Erie 33-8. This is also a two-hour plus drive for the Dragons to southeast Kansas.Conway Springs (2-1) at Hutchinson Trinity (2-1). While we are still wrapping out heads around the fact that Conway Springs will be Class 1A next year, for the time being, the Cardinals are in for a good Class 2A matchup. Hutchinson Trinity defeated Marion and Inman but fell to Ell-Saline 34-0. Last year, Conway Springs struggled a bit against the Celtics, winning 22-8 at home. Caldwell (3-0) at Argonia-Attica (at Argonia) (1-2). A&A have lost two tough games against Hutchinson Central Christian and Pratt-Skyline. Now they get Caldwell which is 3-0 and feeling its oats. The schedule gets a little easier thereafter but it will quite a bit to win tonight. Caldwell took over its game against Cedar Vale-Dexter in the second half after a 21-21 tie at the half. The Bluejays are currently rated in “others” in the latest K-Preps.com poll.Oxford (2-1) at Medicine Lodge (1-2). Wildcats travel west to the Gyp Hill region. The Indians have lost two straight by significant margins. Oxford is coming off a 46-34 victory over Flinthills. The Wildcats have already surpassed last year’s win total. They hope to get another win here.South Haven (0-3) at South Barber (2-1). This likely will be a very tough evening for South Barber. The Chieftains defeated Hutchins Christian last week, who defeated A&A in week one.Follow us on Facebook.Follow us on Twitter.last_img
